The Carey Park Football, Sporting & Community Club is inviting expressions of interest for the position of Colts Coach for the 2027 season.
This is an important role within our football program, with a strong focus on developing young players and providing them with a clear pathway into senior football at Carey Park.
We are seeking a coach who is passionate about developing young footballers, building a positive team environment and working closely with our senior coaching group.
Key Criteria
- Well organised with strong communication and leadership skills.
- A strong focus on player development and preparing players for Senior Football.
- Ability to identify individual player strengths and areas for improvement and provide coaching tailored to their development.
- Work closely with the Senior Coach to understand and implement club structures, standards and game plans.
- Experience and/or the ability to work positively with young men aged approximately 15–18 years
- Ability to motivate players and get the best out of individuals and the playing group.
- A commitment to developing and maintaining a strong, positive club culture.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with other coaches, committee members, volunteers, sponsors and club members.
- Appropriate coaching accreditation preferred; however, the Club can assist the successful applicant in obtaining the required accreditation.
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
